APHC leaders challenge Amit Shah to hold referendum in IIOJK 

Srinagar, October 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders and organizations while criticizing the visit by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have asked his BJP government to show courage and hold a referendum to ascertain the verdict of the Kashmiri people about their political future.

The leaders and organizations including Farida Behanji, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Democratic Political Movement and Hurriyat AJK leader Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in their statements on Sunday said that Amit Shah was responsible for the genocide of Muslims in the occupied territory.

The leaders said that the Indian Home Minister, who took away all the basic human, social, political and religious rights of the people of the territory by presenting the most controversial bill in the Indian Look Sabha on August 5, 2019, now tried to divide on the basis of linguistics, nationality and regionalism to mislead the Kashmiri people as well as the international community.

Such a cruel person, they added, who imprisoned thousands of Kashmiris in jails after August 5, 2019 and martyred hundreds should completely boycott his visit. The leaders expressed serious concern over stepped up Indian state terrorism and called upon the international community to take notice of the innocent killing of Kashmiri youth. They said that Indian rulers cannot occupy IIOJK by force for long.
