Srinagar, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has been granted permission by Indian authorities to travel to New Delhi for personal reasons.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the permission for Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to undertake this journey was confirmed on Monday. This development comes after the APHC leader communicated the personal nature of his visit, leading to the authorities’ approval.
The information was released in a statement by Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid, the management body of the historic 14th-century mosque in Srinagar. the statement, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is expected to return to Kashmir within a couple of weeks.
