APHC leader Altaf Ahmad Shah moves interim bail application before NIA court 

New Delhi, October 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader, Altaf Ahmed Shah, who has been diagnosed with cancer, has moved an interim bail application before an Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in New Delhi seeking his transfer to Apollo hospital for treatment.

Altaf Ahmad Shah and seven other Hurriyat leaders, including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Merajuddin Kalwal and Shahidul Islam were arrested by the NIA in July 2017 in a false case. The bail application was moved before Special Judge Shailender Malik, who directed the NIA to produce relevant medical records on October 6.
