Srinagar, October 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed its deep concern over the incessant increase in the deployment of more and more troops in the territory by India. The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the prevailing situation in IIOJK a prelude to any political hurricane which may rewrite the history of the subcontinent if Kashmir dispute is not resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions.

He regretted on the arrogant Indian attitude and said that for how long people could be kept hostage to military power? Converting the occupied territory into a military garrison negate Indian claims of normalcy in Kashmir where its occupation forces are engaged in a full-fledged war against the freedom loving people of Kashmir, added the spokesman.

Reiterating the fervent appeal by illegally detained APHC Chairman, Masarat Aalam Butt to observe complete shutdown on October 27, the spokesman said the freedom-loving people of Kashmir have time and again rejected the illegal occupation of their motherland by India.

He urged the United Nations and the UN Council for Human Rights to take serious cognizance of the deteriorating situation and widespread Human Rights Abuses in Kashmir at the hands of Indian occupation forces who have let loose a reign of terror in the nook and corner of the territory and deprived the common people of earning their livelihood and rendered them to starvation. The spokesman demanded early settlement of the Kashmir dispute to end up the miserable life of the hostage people of Kashmir illegally occupied by India.
