APHC Condemns Poonch District Custodial Death, Seeks Neutral Investigation

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has voiced strong criticism over the custodial death of a young individual in Poonch district, calling for an impartial examination of the sad event. Kashmir Media Service reported that Ulfat Hussain met his demise while in custody at the Surankot Police Station a few days prior. A spokesperson from the organization, emphasizing the need for an independent and unbiased inquiry, stated that such incidents cannot be overlooked under any circumstances.

According to Kashmir Media Service, In a related development, posters featuring messages from the incarcerated senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, have resurfaced in Sopore and its nearby regions. These posters communicate Shah’s and other Hurriyat leaders’ persistent resolve to champion the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, resisting India’s maneuvers. “My heart resonates with the hearts of the Kashmiri people,” the posters declared.
