APHC Commemorates 50th Anniversary of Ghulam Muhammad Bulla’s Death


Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has paid tribute to the prominent leader, Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, on the 50th anniversary of his death.



According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Bulla was arrested by Indian police in February 1975 for leading a protest against the Indira-Abdullah Accord. On February 15, 1975, he died in Central Jail Srinagar after reportedly being tortured.



During a meeting in Srinagar, APHC leaders and organizations honored Bulla, describing him as a key figure in Kashmir’s freedom movement. They highlighted his commitment to the cause, noting his resistance against Indian authorities.



The meeting also recognized the ongoing sacrifices made by Kashmiris in their quest for freedom, expressing hope that their efforts will eventually achieve their goals.
