APHC Calls for Tributes to Syed Ali Gilani on His 3rd Martyrdom Anniversary in Srinagar

New Delhi: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has called on the residents of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir to visit the grave of Syed Ali Gilani at Hyderpora in Srinagar this Sunday. This visit is to commemorate the third anniversary of the death of the prominent resistance leader, who is celebrated for his lifelong dedication to the Kashmiri self-determination movement.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC leaders including Molvi Bashir Irfani, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi, and others praised Gilani’s unwavering commitment and moral fortitude in the face of significant adversity. They remembered him as a stalwart figure in the struggle, enduring hardships while maintaining a firm stance on the Kashmir issue. The leaders highlighted Gilani’s role as a symbol of integrity and his substantial contributions to the cause.

The call to gather at Gilani’s gravesite is part of a broader appeal to honor his legacy, with leaders urging mosque leaders across the region to hold special prayers in his memory. The APHC’s statements reflect a continuing reverence for Gilani’s efforts and an ongoing commitment to the Kashmiri cause, viewing him as an enduring inspiration for future generations.

In parallel, APHC-AJK chapter leaders in Islamabad echoed these sentiments, recognizing Gilani’s impact on global movements for self-determination and human rights. They called on international bodies to intervene against what they describe as ongoing state terrorism by India in the region.
