Islamabad, September 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter during a seminar at its office in Islamabad has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of 1965 war.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK Convener, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, who presided over the seminar said, 6th September, the Pakistan’s Defense day, is the tale of bravery and heroism. He said, during the war, the Pakistani nation stood united as one solid edifice to meet the onslaught of the enemy that chose the cover of darkness to achieve its nefarious designs.
The participants of the event eulogized the services of Pakistani armed forces for safeguarding the ideological and territorial borders of the country.
They also strongly condemned the killing of innocent people by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and said that India would not succeed to suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom through brutal tactics. They pointed out that peace and stability in South Asia was linked to the settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

APHC-AJK General Secretary, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, moderated the seminar.
