Islamabad, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): Shah Ghulam Qadir, the newly elected President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Azad Kashmir, has said that his party will not make any bargains on the Kashmir dispute. Shah Ghulam Qadir, speaking on the occasion of visiting the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter (APHC-AJK), said that PML-N will respect every wish of the Kashmiri people and will strongly resist any action against the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
He hoped that the new office-bearers would work tirelessly and sincerely for the Kashmir cause and would take all possible steps on the political and diplomatic fronts to highlight the struggle of the Kashmiris for their right to self-determination.
Shah Ghulam Qadir said the leadership of PML-N, including Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif, is taking all kinds of interest in the Kashmir dispute. The APHC will work together with the newly elected leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the current situation, he added.
He congratulated the newly elected Convener of APHC-AJK chapter Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani and assured the Hurriyat leadership of his party’s full support at this critical and decisive stage of the Kashmir freedom movement.
The newly elected Convener of APHC-AJK Mahmood Ahmed Saghar on the occasion congratulated him on becoming the party president and thanked him for visiting the Hurriyat office. He added that Shah Ghulam Qadir had a prominent role in the Kashmir freedom movement and had always made tireless efforts to highlight the Kashmir dispute at international forums and is still active in the diplomatic and political fields regarding Kashmir.
Mehmood Ahmad Saghar said that the Kashmir movement is at a critical stage when India has started preparations to hold a meeting of G20 countries in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir after the unilateral actions of August 5, 2019. A special prayer was offered for the departed soul of the mother of Muhammad Yasin Attai and for the martyrs of Kashmir.
