Islamabad: On the anniversary of his martyrdom, leaders from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter commemorated Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his comrades, acknowledging their significant contributions to the Kashmir freedom movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, a senior leader from the APHC-AJK chapter, stressed that the sacrifices made by Kashmiris like Wani have kept the Kashmir dispute prominent on the global stage. He articulated that a lasting resolution to the conflict requires tripartite talks, reflecting the Kashmiri rejection of Indian authority.
APHC-AJK General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah and Secretary Information Mushtaq Ahmed Butt described Wani as a figure of immense courage and determination, whose leadership reshaped the trajectory of the Kashmiri struggle for autonomy. The leaders emphasized the critical role of such sacrifices in the ongoing resistance against Indian domination, urging continued commitment to the cause of freedom.
