APHC-AJK holds seminar to pay homage to July 13 martyrs 

Islamabad, July 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a seminar in Islamabad to pay tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs of July 13, 1931 on their martyrdom anniversary, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar was chaired by APHC-AJK Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar. Addressing the program, the speakers termed July 13, 1931, as an important milestone and said the sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people are the continuation of the mission of the July 13 martyrs.

Condemning the continued human rights violations by Indian troops and enforcement of draconian laws by New Delhi in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the speakers appealed to the international community to play its role in halting these rights abuses.

They said India is using extrajudicial killings, arrests, torture and other brutal tactics to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people but will never succeed in its nefarious designs. The participants reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to render all kinds of sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion at all costs.

The speakers said the resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute is imperative for ensuring permanent peace in the region and urged the world community to help in settling it in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. At the end of the conference, special prayers were offered for the Kashmiri martyrs.

The seminar was attended by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mir Tahir Masood, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Altaf Hussain Wani, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Nisar Mirza, Raja Khadim Hussain, Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, Javaid Iqbal Butt, Zahid Safi, Manzoo-ul-Haq Butt, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Sheikh Majid, Gulshan Ahmed, Abdul Majeed, Mian Muzafar, Hassan Al-Bana, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Daud Khan Yousuf Zai, Manzoor Ahmed Dar and Imtiaz Wani.

Meanwhile, a rally was organized in the Muzaffarabad under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir from Burhan Wani Chowk to District complex in which participants reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the struggle for securing freedom from Indian yoke.

Addressing the rally, the speakers maintained that from 1931 to 1947, Dogra forces had martyred unarmed Muslim citizens in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and their imperialism continued in shape of Indian forces in the territory. They said the sacred blood of Kashmiri martyrs including the great martyrs of July 13 will be protected at all costs.

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Abdul Majeed Mir, Shaukat Javed Mir, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Jameel Afghani, Ateeq ur Rehman Danish, Usman Ali Hashim, Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Shafique Inqalabi, Iqbal Yaseen, Aslam Inqalabi, Yasir Naqvi, Imtiaz Ahmed Butt, Raja Mumtaz Khan, Tanveer Ahmed Durrani, Muhammad Altaf Minhas, Qazi Muhammad Khushal, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheed, Muhammad Aimal Farzam, Liaqat Ali Rana, Faisal Farooq Sheikh, Fayyaz Ahmed Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
