Islamabad, February 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter) organized a peaceful protest in front of National Press Club, Islamabad, today, on World Day of Social Justice. The protest was led by APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani.
The participants of the protest urged the United Nations and other human rights organizations to support Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and take strict action against India for its violation of human and fundamental rights in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The APHC-AJK leaders on the occasion expressed their grief over the atrocities of the Indian troops on the innocent people of the territory and urged the United Nations and other human rights organisations to put pressure on India to stop gross human rights violations in the occupied territory. They deplored that everywhere in the world political leaders were being released due to fear of coronavirus but the Indian authorities were arresting Kashmiris and lodging them with criminals across India.
They urged the world community to take note of the human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and resolve the lingering dispute according to the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. APHC-AJK leader Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad deplored the silence of the world over deprivation of the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of their social rights.
