Islamabad, August 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has strongly condemned political victimisation, implication of workers in fake cases, restrictions on peaceful political activities and media and inhuman behaviour with illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The APHC-AJK in a meeting held today in Islamabad with its Convener, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in chair condemned the actions of the Modi-led fascist Indian government in IIOJK. All the constituents of the APHC-AJK expressed concern over the lawlessness in the occupied territory, adding that the lives and property of the Kashmiris were not safe. They deplored that Hurriyat activists and other youth were summoned for signing blank papers and cases were registered against them over fake and false allegations.

They said that the present regime despite the use of brute force had badly failed to suppress the ongoing liberation movement and India itself was confronting agitation inside the country. The participants of the meeting reiterated the resolve that Hurriyat Conference believed in complete right to self-determination, which was internationally recognised principle and no compromise would be made on it.

The meeting appealed to the United Nations and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to put pressure on India to stop atrocities in IIOJK and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
