Lahore: A delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, engaged with leaders from various political parties in Lahore today to brief them on the current circumstances in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation met with Dewan Mohiuddin, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. They discussed the ongoing challenges in Kashmir and extended an invitation to Mohiuddin to attend a rally scheduled for July 19 in Lahore, commemorating Pakistan’s Accession Day. Mohiuddin expressed that PTI workers would actively participate in the rally and reiterated the party’s commitment to seeking a resolution to the Kashmir issue that aligns with the aspirations of Kashmiri people and United Nations resolutions. The APHC-AJK delegation also met with representatives from the Markazi Muslim League and other political entities, updating them on the situation in the occupied territory. The delegation included APHC-AJK chapter General Secretary Advocate Parvez Ahmed Shah, Engineer Mushtaq Mehmood, Zahid Safi, Sheikh Yaqoob, Zahid Ashraf, and Muhammad Shafi Dar.
