APHC-AJK Delegation Discusses Kashmir Situation with Bari Imam Shrine Custodian


Islamabad: A delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) met with Pir Syed Haider Ali Shah Gilani, the custodian of the Bari Imam Shrine, to discuss the ongoing crisis in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the meeting was led by APHC-AJK General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah and included prominent members such as Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt and several others. The delegation briefed Pir Syed Haider Ali on the severe conditions in Kashmir, highlighting the continuous violence, arrests, and coercive policies imposed by Indian authorities aimed at altering the demographic balance of the region.



Pir Syed Haider Ali expressed grave concern regarding the reported atrocities and called for international intervention, urging the United Nations and Islamic nations to pressure India to halt its oppressive tactics and acknowledge the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. The meeting underscores the ongoing international advocacy efforts by Kashmiri leaders to garner support against India’s actions in the disputed territory.
