Islamabad, September 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter called on Secretary Kashmir Affairs, Babar Hayat Tarar, in Islamabad and apprised him of the prevailing situation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during the meeting, they discussed the preparations being made to observe October 27 as Black Day. The delegation included General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani.
On the occasion, Babar Hayat Tarar said that the APHC has played an important role in highlighting the Kashmiris’ struggle to achieve their right to self-determination. He said that Pakistan will continue and raise the voice of the rights of Kashmiris at all international forums.
Babar Hayat said the Kashmiris and Pakistanis will observe October 27 as Black Day as on this day in 1947 India illegally occupied the territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He said massive anti-India protests will be held on the day.
Sheikh Abdul Mateen on the occasion said occupied Kashmir has become the biggest prison in the world since the illegal and unilateral actions of India on August 5, 2019. He said that the religious freedom and unique identity of Kashmiris in the occupied territory is under serious threat. He said that Pakistan is the center of hopes of Kashmiris for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
