Karachi: Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, affirmed that the Kashmiri people will persist in their freedom struggle regardless of the challenges.
According to Kashmir Media Service, at a press conference in Karachi, Ghulam Mohammad Safi highlighted the enduring influence of Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s sacrifice, stating it serves as an inspiration for ongoing efforts toward self-determination. He expressed confidence in the ultimate success of the Kashmiris’ endeavors to achieve their rights.
The conference also saw the participation of APHC-General Secretary Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, Raja Shaheen, Imtiaz Wani, and other leaders, where Safi detailed Wani’s role and the subsequent intensification of protests following his death in 2016. He criticized India’s stance on the Kashmir issue, urging acknowledgment of the Kashmiris’ self-determination rights in line with United Nations resolutions and calling for international support to enforce these standards.
