APHC-AJK Commemorates Prominent Kashmiri Leaders in Islamabad Ceremony


Islamabad: Today, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter conducted a ceremony to commemorate the death anniversaries of three distinguished Kashmiri leaders: Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Dr. Abdul Aala, and Shaikh Tajamul-ul-Islam. The event honored their significant contributions to the Kashmiri liberation movement.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the commemoration was held at the APHC-AJK’s office in Islamabad, where Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the Convener of APHC-AJK, led the proceedings. The ceremony included speeches from various leaders and personalities who emphasized the ongoing commitment to Kashmir’s self-determination and liberation from Indian occupation.



The speakers, including prominent figures such as Sardar Yaqoob Khan, former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Abdur Rashid Turabi, former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami AJK, paid tribute to the enduring legacies of the honored leaders. They highlighted their roles as symbols of hope and resistance and called on the international community to address the human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge from the participants to continue the struggle for freedom, echoing the dedication of the deceased leaders to the cause of Kashmiri independence.
