Loralai: The anti-polio campaign in Loralai has been progressing swiftly as teams remain actively engaged in administering polio drops to children through door-to-door visits. The initiative also involves staff stationed at transit points, ensuring comprehensive coverage in the fight against polio. District officers and their representatives are conducting thorough monitoring of the campaign’s progress.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Assistant Commissioner Ajmal Khan Mandokhel and Mekhtar Yahya Khan Kakar have been overseeing the ongoing polio campaign in various locations, including Union Council Oryagi Nasiran, Oryagi Kakran, Union Council Azghlon, Kali Durgai Sargarh, Kali Chinjan, Kali Chenali, and Tehsil Mekhtar city along with its suburbs. During his visit, Kakar emphasized the critical nature of the task, urging polio workers to maintain diligence. He highlighted the potential dangers of negligence, stating that any lapse could have serious consequences for children’s health. Kakar called for immediate reporting of any parental refusal to allow vaccinations, advocating for prompt administrative action. He appealed to parents to cooperate with polio teams to help secure a healthier future for their children, preventing the risk of lifelong disabilities.
