Islamabad: An anti-polio campaign has commenced in seventy-nine selected districts across the nation, aiming to curb the spread of the polio virus among children. The campaign, which varies in duration depending on the district, targets children under the age of five to receive anti-polio vaccine drops.
According to Radio Pakistan, the National Emergency Operations Centre has announced that approximately nineteen million children are set to receive the vaccine during this initiative. Health officials emphasize the importance of parental cooperation to ensure the success of the campaign, urging parents to ensure their children are vaccinated with the life-saving drops.
