Muzaffarabad, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):A protest rally was held in Muzaffarabad, today, against the Narendra Modi-led Indian fascist government’s nefarious designs to change the demographic composition of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The rally was organized on the call of All Parties Hurriyat Conference by Jammu and Kashmir Pasban-e-Hurriyat at Shaheed Burhan Wani Chowk against the ongoing eviction-cum-demolition drive in IIOJK. The drive being carried out by the Modi regime in the name of removing encroachments is aimed at grabbing the lands and properties of the locals, particularly Muslims, and handing them over to the Indian Hindus.
People holding banners and placards gathered at Burhan Wani Chowk and chanted slogans against India and in favour of Jammu and Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation. Speakers on the occasion said the Indian government is using bulldozers as a weapon of war against the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to strengthen its illegal occupation in IIOJK. They said, destruction and confiscation of properties of Kashmiri citizens is the worst display of state terrorism.
The speakers appealed to the United Nations Security Council and Organization of Islamic Cooperation to impress upon India to stop its brutalities in IIOJK. Opposition leader in the AJK Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Aqeel-ur-Rehman, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, APHC-AJK leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Shaukat Javed Mir, Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Chaudhry Muhammad Mushtaq, Muhammad Asim Inqalabi, Muhammad Riaz Awan, Abdul Latif Abbasi, Raja Zakheer Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, Mubarak Haider, Jahangir Mughal, Tanzeer Iqbal, Mudassir Abbasi, Muhammad Farooq Sheikh, Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmed, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Dr Safeer Ahmed, Syed Mehmood Shah and others were also present on the occasion.
