Islamabad, January 13, 2023 (PPI-OT):On the instructions of Chairman CDA Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus, DG Enforcement today issued orders to the anti-encroachment staff to take action against encroachments despite the heavy rain in Islamabad. As a result of which, many constructions across the city were demolished today and 5 trucks of goods were confiscated.
According to the details, the operation started near the Sector I-10/3 auto market of Islamabad, and the nomads had occupied it by building huts and dirty rooms. Anti-encroachment personnel using heavy machinery demolished several structures and handed over the government land.
Apart from this, in view of public complaints, a mega operation was conducted on Islamabad Expressway, Zia Masjid, Iqbal Town and Kari Road Jahan Tutor, in which dozens of fruit stalls were demolished and 4 truckloads of goods were seized.
In Sector F-6/1, a lawn was created by encroaching on government land, which was quickly demolished by the enforcement personnel to thwart the encroachment. On Pandora Chongi IJP Road, building materials such as concrete lattices, pipes and tiles were removed from the plot and the plot was handed over.
