Islamabad, December 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman CDA Captain (Retired) Muhammad Usman Younis presided over a meeting with the CD officers on Saturday 3 December 2022, in which he directed the officers, especially the DG Enforcement. That the anti-encroachment campaign should be intensified.
In the light of these orders, the anti-encroachment officers and squads were urged to intensify the anti-encroachment operations in Islamabad. In Margalla Town, Bari Imam, Park Road, Chatta Bakhtawar, Bani Gala, Sector, H-11, G-7, E-7, 13 buildings were demolished and 13 buildings were sealed under CDA bylaws. The truck was confiscated.
According to the details, the operation was started from Bani Gala, where 13 buildings were demolished and 1 truckload of goods was also confiscated while working with the building control staff for violating the CDA bylaws.
Apart from this, taking full action against the encroachment in Bari Imam, the encroachment of the government land was foiled by demolishing 2 boundary walls. Apart from this, the road was intended to be widened for the purpose of development work in Margalla Town and the work was started by installing machinery on the 500 feet road with the support of the road staff.
A 220-feet road/way was being constructed on Park Road from CDA’s green belt, while taking action with the environment staff, the work was stopped and the equipment seized. Similarly, while operating in Sector E-7, the illegal bird boxes and cages were removed and the public passage was cleared. An illegal kiosk was demolished in Sector H-11.
