Another Indian armed forces officer suspiciously dies in IIOJK

Srinagar, March 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Assistant Sub-inspector of Border Security Forces (BSF) died in Poonch district, the fourth such deaths among Indian forces’ personnel in almost a week period. The Assistant Sub-inspector of BSF identified as B L Jonko, died of a suspected heart attack in Mendhar area of the district. The death has raised alarm bells in New Delhi as such deaths have surged among Indian troops, mostly stationed in IIOJK, the recent days.

BMO Mendhar has also confirmed the death of the officer at a health facility in Mendhar. It to mention here that suspicious cardiac arrests have become very common among the Indian forces’ personnel as this was the fourth such death of the Indian uniformed personnel in IIOJK over the past few days. Earlier a constable of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died of the heart attack at Lethpora in outskirts of Srinagar on last Monday. A day ago, a colonel ranked Indian Army officer had died of the same problem in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
