Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh Attends Documentary Screening in New York


New York: Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, H.E. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, participated in the screening of “Sister States: Pakistan and New York,” a documentary showcased at the Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bay Shore, New York. The event was organized by Deputy Speaker of the New York State Assembly Phil Ramos, along with Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny and the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC).



According to Press Information Department, the documentary focuses on the historic visit led by Deputy Speaker Phil Ramos to Pakistan, establishing significant ties between New York State and the Pakistani provinces of Punjab and Sindh. This bipartisan initiative seeks to foster new collaboration opportunities with lasting impacts for both New Yorkers and the Pakistani populace. Ambassador Sheikh, in his speech, praised the initiative as a symbol of the strong friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and the United States, and acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in New York.
