WASHINGTON D.C., Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, has articulated Pakistan’s active pursuit of foreign investment across various sectors, emphasizing information technology, energy, agriculture, mining, and defense production. Speaking at the ‘Resilience and Reform in Pakistan’ conference, Ambassador Khan highlighted the formation of a Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) earlier this year aimed at offering a one-window operation to streamline and expedite the investment process.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering economic growth, ensuring policy continuity, and integrating with international capital markets. Ambassador Khan pointed out the significant achievements in the tech sector, with tech startups and e-commerce generating substantial turnovers. He also mentioned the US-Pakistan Green Alliance initiative, identifying it as a revolutionary step toward promoting sustainable agriculture and renewable energy in Pakistan.
