Washington, Outgoing Pakistani Ambassador to the US, Masood Khan, has underscored the importance of sustained efforts to bolster Pakistan-US ties in message. He reflected on the evolving relationship as a continuing endeavor with a foundation spanning nearly seventy-seven years.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Khan highlighted the significant role of the Pakistani-American community as a foundational element in fostering resilient bilateral partnerships. His tenure since March 2022 has been marked by collaborative efforts across various sectors, including interactions with the U.S. administration, state governments, international financial bodies, and the private sector.

The ambassador expressed gratitude towards both the American entities that supported these initiatives and the Pakistani-American community for their pivotal role. At his farewell dinner, US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst praised the current state of Pakistan-US relations, attributing significant progress and stability to Ambassador Khan’s diplomatic efforts.
