Kashgar: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi has praised the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) for its efforts in enhancing trade between Pakistan and China. During a visit to NLC’s logistics center in Kashgar, Ambassador Hashmi was briefed on the corporation’s cross-border logistics operations and facilities, which he described as pivotal for promoting bilateral trade and connectivity.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Hashmi highlighted the strategic importance of NLC’s facilities in Kashgar and Tashkurgan, which are facilitating the smooth movement of goods to China and Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, with further access to global markets. The briefing underscored NLC’s active role in the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its establishment of a wholly-owned logistics company in China. Modern transport vehicles operated by NLC are enhancing trade relations and contributing to expanding connectivity between the two nations.
