DUBAI: Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates, has advocated for the establishment of a regional logistics forum in Pakistan, aiming to enhance the nation’s logistics sector.
The ambassador’s comments came during a meeting with representatives from the Global Logistics Alliance (GLA) and Logistics Mode Pvt Ltd (LMP) at the 12th GLA Logistics Forum in Dubai. The delegation included Grace, the President and Founder of GLA; Malik, Project Director of GLA; Zeeshan, Group Director of LMP; and Suleman Jazib from LMP Dubai.
Ms. Grace expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Tirmizi for his keynote address at the forum, which emphasized the significance of China-Pakistan relations and Pakistan’s strategic position in the regional logistics and supply chain sectors.
Ambassador Tirmizi’s call for a regional logistics forum underscores Pakistan’s dedication to fostering economic growth and development. During the meeting, he praised the contributions of GLA and LMP to the logistics industry, specifically highlighting LMP’s receipt of the “Best Contribution Award” at the conference.
Both Ambassador Tirmizi and Ms. Grace acknowledged the pivotal role LMP plays in freight forwarding and the logistics industry in both Pakistan and the UAE.
