Brussels, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Amna Baloch, has formally presented her credentials to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. The presentation took place at the Royal Palace of Luxembourg and was followed by several key meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Luxembourg.
According to a news release by the Press International Department, during the credential presentation, Ambassador Baloch conveyed greetings from Pakistan’s leadership and reiterated her commitment to fostering enhanced relations between the two nations. Beyond this formal gesture, the Ambassador met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg, Ambassador Jean Olinger. Their discussions revolved around potential avenues to deepen the bond between the two countries. Mr. Patrick Nickels, the Director General for Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion at Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, also participated in the conversation.
Taking a broader approach to her diplomatic role, Ambassador Baloch organized a networking event that attracted participation from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the National Research Fund, and the CEO of ExoAtlet. The focus of this gathering was to explore innovation connections and potential trade partnerships that can be fostered between Pakistan and Luxembourg.
In an effort to engage the diaspora, the embassy arranged a meet and greet session for the Pakistani community residing in Luxembourg. The primary objective of this event was to discuss opportunities and ways to amplify Pakistan’s presence and influence in the Grand Duchy.
