Islamabad, December 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant on Interfaith Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has said that all political and religious parties should sit together to effectively deal with the issues of intolerance, extremism and terrorism.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he regretted the slander campaign against state institutions on the social media saying enemies of the country are behind it. Tahir Ashrafi was appreciative of steps being taken by the government to introduce interest free banking system. He said the religious scholars will extend every possible cooperation in this regard. He said the banks should also be forthcoming in implementing interest free system.
