Islamabad: All Hajj applications submitted under the Government Hajj Scheme have been approved, as announced by the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain. The announcement includes the approval of applications received from the 18th of the previous month until this past Tuesday and an extension for submissions until the 10th of this month.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister detailed that if the number of applications surpasses the government’s quota, a balloting process will be conducted. Furthermore, all applications under the Sponsorship Scheme have also been accepted without the need for balloting. Chaudhry Salik Hussain urged overseas Pakistanis to deposit the sponsorship fee by the 10th of this month.
For convenience, Hajj applications can be submitted via an online portal available on the Ministry’s website. Intending pilgrims are advised to download the Pak Hajj Mobile App to access new instructions.
