Ali Haider Zaidi briefs Prime Minister about International Maritime Organization’s elections

Islamabad, December 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday. He briefed the Prime Minister about International Maritime Organization’s elections. Besides, the Prime Minister was briefed on the side-line meetings with the Ministers of Transport of the United Kingdom, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Maldives during the IMO Convention to get Pakistan a greater share in the international maritime transportation business.

Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday. Ghazanfar Bilour, who is the leading political figure of the province, also accompanied them. Ghazanfar Bilour, on the occasion, announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The Prime Minister welcomed Ghazanfar Bilour to the fold of PTI. During the meeting, views were exchanged on overall political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, progress in ongoing development projects and measures taken for the improvement of governance.
