Islamabad: Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, has approved a funding allocation of one billion rupees for the construction and rehabilitation of the Bahrain-Kalam Road. This decision was unveiled during a meeting with Engineer Amir Muqam, the Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, in the capital.
According to Radio Pakistan, Engineer Amir Muqam expressed his appreciation for the allocation, highlighting the potential benefits that the development of the Bahrain-Kalam Road could bring. He noted that the project is expected to enhance tourism, stabilize the local economy, and improve travel facilities for the public. The strategic investment in infrastructure aligns with broader governmental objectives to support regional growth and connectivity.
