Al-Hijra Residential College in Ziarat Celebrates 20 Years of Educational Excellence

Ziarat: Al-Hijra Residential College marked its 20th anniversary with a ceremony that also concluded the annual convention of Al-Hijra Al-Munai Pakistan, reflecting on two decades of providing full scholarships for education and accommodation to students from Balochistan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was attended by notable figures including the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Secretary Finance Babar Khan, and Al-Hijra Trust Chairman Abdul Kareem Saqib. Over 500 students from the college, who have gone on to become professionals in various fields such as medicine, engineering, and government, are a testament to the institution’s impactful contribution to the region. During the event, Speaker Achakzai lauded Al-Hijra’s role in fostering responsible youth and combating societal prejudices, promising continued support and announcing a donation of 15 lakh rupees to the college.

The ceremony also featured acknowledgments of outstanding contributions in education, social work, health, and sports, with awards given to notable individuals in each field. The day concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to the guests, celebrating the college’s longstanding success and its future potential.
