Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir University (AJKU) has launched an essay competition centered around the theme “Kashmir ka Pakistan say Rishta Kia …La ilaha Illallah,” coinciding with Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the competition invites students from universities, colleges, and schools across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to delve into the historical, cultural, and emotional connections between Kashmir and Pakistan. The contest is designed to encourage participants to articulate their insights on the profound relationship between the two regions.
A generous prize pool of PKR 300,000 will be distributed among the winners, with the top essay receiving PKR 100,000. Entries must be submitted by August 7, 2024, ensuring participants have ample time to research and craft their essays.
This initiative not only aims to foster a deeper understanding of Kashmir’s bond with Pakistan but also serves as a platform for young individuals to express their perspectives and engage in a meaningful dialogue about their heritage.
