Karachi, In a poignant remembrance of a pivotal figure in Kashmir’s history, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has hailed the late Raees Ul Ahrar Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas as a vital proponent and defender of the two-nation ideology in Kashmir. The statement, issued on the eve of Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas’s death anniversary, reflects on his unwavering commitment to the Kashmiri cause.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the AJK Prime Minister, in his message issued Sunday, commemorated the anniversary of Rais-ul-Ahrar’s passing, which falls on December 18. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq described the late leader as a staunch Pakistani and a dedicated advocate for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir. He reflected on Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas’s close association with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan’s founder, highlighting his role as a trusted confidante.
The Prime Minister, while paying homage to Ghulam Abbas, recognized him as one of the trusted companions of Quaid-e-Azam. He lauded Rais-ul-Ahrar for his honesty, integrity, and guidance to the Muslims of Kashmir, steering them in the right direction amid challenging times.
