AJK President Urges Global Intervention Against Indian Aggression

Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, has issued a fervent call for international intervention following a recent incident in Pahalgam, which he claims was a false flag operation by India. Speaking at a meeting of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK Chapter) in Islamabad, Chaudhry condemned the event and emphasized the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for freedom.

During the meeting at Kashmir House, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry denounced India’s tactics in Kashmir, asserting that such actions could never suppress the region’s freedom movement. He stated that India’s attempts to crush the unarmed Kashmiri population have consistently failed.

Chaudhry urged the global community to intervene, urging restraint on Indian actions and calling for an end to human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people.

The AJK President warned that India’s actions threaten regional stability, especially given the nuclear capabilities of both India and Pakistan. He called for influential nations such as the United States and the United Kingdom to act to de-escalate tensions.

The APHC delegation, including Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other key figures, briefed the President on the conditions in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. Both parties agreed to intensify efforts to highlight Indian aggression and advocate for Kashmir’s resolution on international platforms with the support of the Kashmiri diaspora.

Chaudhry reiterated his stance against India’s “lies and propaganda,” asserting the continued struggle of the Kashmiri people for liberation. Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi lauded Chaudhry’s efforts to champion the Kashmir cause on both national and international stages.

The meeting concluded with a resolve to expose what they described as Israel-style state terrorism and human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir, particularly in light of the recent Pahalgam incident.
