Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, met with the Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, Engineer Amir Maqam, to discuss the political situation in Kashmir and the ongoing issues in the region. The meeting, held at Sadar Kashmir House in Islamabad, focused on addressing and resolving the Kashmir conflict amid ongoing Indian actions.
According to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the discussions highlighted the continued oppression by India in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the alleged staging of what he referred to as fake elections to mislead the international community. President Chaudhry criticized these actions as inadequate in resolving the Kashmir issue and stressed the need for an effective international advocacy to expose what he termed as the “disgusting face of India.” Federal Minister Maqam assured President Chaudhry of his full political and diplomatic support to address the ongoing atrocities and find a resolution to the Kashmir conflict.
