Islamabad, On the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry reflected on the founder of Pakistan’s vision and struggle for a free homeland for Muslims. He emphasized Jinnah’s role in realizing Allama Iqbal’s dream and providing a country where Muslims could enjoy religious, economic, and social freedoms.
According to Sindh Governor House , Awan Sadr Kashmir House Islamabad President Chaudhry described Quaid-e-Azam as a world leader for Muslims, a distinguished jurist, and a historical figure who illuminated the path for the Muslims of the sub-continent with the two-nation theory. He noted that Jinnah’s leadership in passing the resolution of Pakistan on March 23, 1940, marked the beginning of an intense struggle for a separate homeland for Muslims.
The President also highlighted Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s views on Kashmir, noting his belief in the region’s critical importance to Pakistan. Jinnah’s vision, as stated by President Chaudhry, was for Kashmir to be liberated from Indian rule and integrated into Pakistan. This perspective underscores the ongoing significance of Kashmir in the political and cultural landscape of Pakistan.
