Air Chief Commits to Enhancing PAF Capabilities at Martyrs’ Day Ceremony in Islamabad


Islamabad: During the Martyrs’ Day ceremony held at Air Headquarters, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu reiterated the Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) dedication to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty through advancements in military technology. He emphasized the PAF’s ongoing efforts to enhance capabilities in areas such as space, electronic warfare, cyber security, and indigenous defense technologies.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Air Chief’s address celebrated the PAF’s storied tradition of valor and professionalism. He commemorated Martyrs’ Day as a reflection of the Armed Forces’ exceptional bravery and the ultimate sacrifices made by servicemen for Pakistan. “The PAF has a proud history of sacrifice, valour, and professionalism,” he stated, acknowledging the contributions of fallen heroes to the security and integrity of the nation.



The ceremony, marked annually, serves not only to honor these sacrifices but also to affirm the PAF’s commitment to advancing its defensive and technological capabilities to meet future challenges.
