Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has pledged the government’s dedication to leveraging all resources to meet the objectives of the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ initiative. During a consultative meeting on the Uraan Pakistan Action Plan, he underscored the importance of aligning ministerial priorities with the initiative’s goals and ensuring effective coordination.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Iqbal directed each ministry to appoint a senior focal person to oversee progress and maintain steady communication. He emphasized the need for ministries to identify three key factors that could help stabilize the national economy.
Iqbal further highlighted the necessity of shifting towards export-led growth as a cornerstone for economic sustainability. He set an ambitious target of increasing export growth to 100 billion dollars, marking it as a critical goal for the country’s economic future.
