Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has announced the government’s strategic vision to align the country’s education sector with global standards. Speaking at the launch of the Model Assessment Framework, organized by the Inter Board Coordination Commission, Iqbal emphasized the need for significant reforms to transform the educational landscape.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister highlighted the critical role of teacher training in achieving quality education, unveiling plans to establish a modern teacher training institute in Islamabad. He also stressed the importance of decentralizing authority to empower districts, fostering innovation to meet the highest standards of educational quality.
Iqbal further outlined the government’s education reform strategy, built around the Five Es Framework, which focuses on equitable access, enhanced quality, efficient governance, and empowered communities.
