He expressed these views on Wednesday while presiding over a meeting regarding sustainable development goals, food security and hunger eradication. He said that the elimination of poverty, hunger and unemployment are the goals that we do not need any international memorandum or any international agreement to achieve, they have to be achieved by ourselves for our development.

He said that we have involved the private sector and the civil society and until all these efforts are combined we cannot achieve the sustainable development goals, poverty and hunger are diseases that the society is in. can never develop sustainably, even though we were a food secure country but now our climate change has become a huge threat to security and it is feared that the areas where climate change is more It will have an effect on getting and producing food for these people, it may cause a lot of difficulties, in the worst climatic disaster that happened in Pakistan last year, especially in the most backward areas of Sindh and Balochistan, creating the worst crisis of food and nutrition. gave He said that there was poverty in these areas before but the flood has doubled their problems and the government for these areas.

In Pakistan, although we are among the top 10 producing countries in the world in most of our commodities, we have to improve our productivity. He said that with the help of these technologies, we will be self-sufficient in food, but at the same time, we can also become a country that exports it. He said that people are suffering from hunger in our country, there is a lot of wastage of food here.

There are signs, but on the other hand, those who seek food from garbage for a single bread, this is a momentary concern. He said that we have to ensure that no one remains hungry in the society, no one is left behind in the field of nutrition. He said that Pakistan and other developing countries are currently going through a crisis in the world. In the international economic crisis, Pakistan is facing the effects of climate change. We have gone backwards in our success of the last 10 years, he said that international organizations should help countries like Pakistan that are facing climate change so that we can provide these basic facilities to our people. In view of this, we have specially targeted agriculture and water resources within the budget so that by securing our water resources, we can increase our production and at the same time improve its distribution system so that every citizen is not deprived of water.
