Islamabad, October 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):The government has planned to make Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) a model area in mental healthcare for provinces to follow suit. This was announced by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday. He said mental health is a very important issue which remained neglected in Pakistan so maximum awareness should be created in this regard. He underscored the need for better healthcare facilities to address mental health problems.
