Agha Moosvi deplores highhandedness of Indian police in Budgam 

Srinagar, April 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):Senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has expressed concern over the highhandedness of Indian police in Aroova, Beerwa area of Budgam district. Agha Moosvi in a statement issued in Srinagar termed it illogical to punish an entire community for an act of any individual. He also resented the summoning of details of Waqf properties of a particular community by the administration in Budgam district.

He was reacting to an order issued by the Additional District Commissioner (ACR) Revenue, Budgam demanding at least nine Tehsildars of the district to furnish revenue extracts for declaration and notification of the community’s Waqf Properties.

“I don’t think anyone should interfere in a religious matter without proper knowledge”, adding, “That’s completely unacceptable,” he said. Meanwhile, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi expressed condolences over the death of Syed Muhammad Al-Moosvi Kashani.
