Agha Hassan Raises Alarm Over Alcohol and Drug Use in IOJK

Srinagar: Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, a prominent leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and President of the Anjuman Shari Shian, has voiced serious concern about the increasing presence of alcohol and drugs in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Agha Syed Hassan, while addressing a public gathering in Budgam, remarked that the proliferation of alcohol in the region is not only contrary to Islamic teachings but is also morally questionable.

Agha Hassan specifically addressed the issue of Indian tourists, stating they are welcome to visit the region to appreciate its natural beauty, but their open alcohol consumption is inappropriate. He suggested that tourists should restrict such activities to their own cities.
