Karachi: In a recent meeting held in Karachi, Syed Najmi Alam, the Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh on Livestock and Fisheries, engaged with a delegation from the All Pakistan Private Association to discuss several key issues affecting their members, particularly Stock Assistants in the Livestock Department. The delegation, led by Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed Sheikh, highlighted the need for departmental promotions and recruitment on vacant posts.
According to Chief Minister Sindh’s office, the meeting included significant figures such as the Central President Abbas Ali Khaskheli and Central Finance Secretary Jameel Haider Leghari. During the deliberations, Mumtaz Ahmed Sheikh put forth requests for conducting Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings for Stock Assistants from Grade 15 to 16 and 17, recognizing their service and addressing the vacancies within the department.
Advisor Syed Najmi Alam responded positively, assuring the delegation that prompt actions would be taken to address their concerns. He committed to issuing necessary instructions to ensure that the grievances of the employees working in the field are prioritized and resolved swiftly.
The meeting concluded on a hopeful note with Chairman Mumtaz Sheikh expressing optimism regarding the swift resolution of their issues, facilitated by the assurances from Advisor Alam. The engagement underscores the government’s initiative to enhance operational conditions for livestock and fisheries employees in Sindh.
