Karachi, April 08, 2023 (PPI-OT):Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rahman while expressing regret over the fire in the building located on Liaquat Highway said that immediate steps were taken to save the people in the building to avoid loss of precious lives.
Safety of property is paramount, five fire tenders, Snorkel and Bowser participated in extinguishing the fire in the building. Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rahman personally supervised the fire extinguishing operation in the building and instructed the Chief Fire Officer to prevent the fire from spreading to other floors of the building.
Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rahman has asked the Chief Fire Officer for a detailed report on the fire in the building. The spokesperson of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation said that the fire erupted in the building at once and after getting information the fire vehicles reached there and started fire extinguishing work and brought the fire under control by the timely action.
