Islamabad: The Defense Minister of Pakistan, Khawaja Mohammad Asif, asserted that addressing the grievances of the populace remains a top priority for the government. Despite the challenges faced since the last election, the administration, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has been committed to resolving these issues over the past year.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the Defense Minister highlighted the government’s persistent efforts in the face of economic difficulties. He noted that relief from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) seemed unattainable, yet the Prime Minister persevered in his mission to provide solutions for the people.
Asif also credited the guidance of Nawaz Sharif, the unwavering support of the Army Chief, and assistance from an undisclosed friendly nation as critical to the government’s endeavors.
Additionally, the Defense Minister criticized the political approach of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, suggesting that their focus is on securing power rather than addressing the needs of the Pakistani people.
